What began as a private journal during one of the most difficult seasons of my life slowly became something more—a story I never expected to share, and a decision to make the private parts of my life public.
The ways we learn to survive can serve us remarkably well. But what happens when the circumstances change and we’re still living by the old rules?
Writing the book was only the beginning. Publishing my first book taught me about purpose, patience, rejection, and what it really takes to bring a story into the world.
